Tamra is a big believer that working out is a celebration of what the body can do, and never a punishment for the food you eat. She loves to encourage members to fall in love with movement, find training they enjoy doing, and then find out just how much they are capable of.
She was a gymnast growing up and went on to coach competitive gymnastics for five years. “Gymnastics has given me an eye for form, a focus on safe, effective movement, and the knowledge that discipline and consistency bring results” says Tamra.
“In my early years of work life after uni, I struggled to find exercise I enjoyed...until I found group training. I love the shared strength, energy and commitment that group training brings and am on a mission to get others feeling this magic too. I also teach BodyPump and BodyBalance at Les Mills, and love getting outdoors on the weekend to walk, tramp or ski during winter.”
Expect a real broad range of beats in Tamra’s workouts - everything from Billy Joel, to 90s pop, Dua Lipa and classic gym DnB... if it's a banger, she’ll bust it out.
